    AI-Driven Bioinformatics and Smart Healthcare

   Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most transformative technologies of the modern era, significantly influencing biological research, medical diagnosis, and smart healthcare systems. The rapid development of machine learning and deep learning techniques has enabled researchers to analyze complex biological data more efficiently and accurately than ever before. As biological datasets continue to grow exponentially, AI-driven bioinformatics is playing an increasingly important role in solving challenging biomedical problems and accelerating scientific discovery. This lecture will introduce the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and bioinformatics, and explore how these technologies are integrated to advance modern healthcare and computational biology. The talk will highlight several real-world applications, including medical image analysis, protein sequence prediction, disease diagnosis, drug discovery, and intelligent healthcare systems. In addition, the lecture will discuss future trends, research opportunities, and the growing impact of AI in healthcare and biological sciences. Through this lecture, students will gain a better understanding of the interdisciplinary relationship between artificial intelligence and biology, as well as the future potential of AI-driven technologies in improving human health and biomedical research.

   ULLAH MATEE，南京理工大学计算机科学与技术专业博士，现为电子科技大学与深圳信息职业技术大学联合培养博士后。长期致力于人工智能与生物信息学的交叉融合研究，专注于利用机器学习与深度学习进行高级生物数据分析及预测建模，在《Bioinformatics》等国际顶级期刊上发表了多篇高质量论文，2025年荣获“四川省高层次外国人才证书”。
